Abstract

Transformation and Innovation in the German Studies Program at the Academy of Applied Sciences in Racibórz

This article analyzes the transformation processes and innovations in German language studies at the Academy of Applied Sciences in Racibórz in the context of changes in higher education in Poland at the turn of the 20th and 21st centuries. Based on conference materials, institutional document analysis, and scholarly literature, the paper examines institutional development, the transition toward practice-oriented education, and the role of internationalization and digitalization. The findings indicate that integrating linguistic, digital, and professional competencies enhances graduates’ competitiveness and supports regional cross-border cooperation.
