Abstract

The aim of this study is to reveal the attitude of St. Petersburg citizens towards ecologically safe foodstuffs and the level at which they understand and recognize eco-labels. This article presents the results of a sociological survey madę by the St.
Petersburg Ecological Union and Agency of Social Information carried out in January 2005. Also, we present results of our own research related to the attitude of students from St. Petersburg universities.
