Abstract

Father Wacław Bliziński – a parish priest from Lisków, undertook various efforts which resulted in the establishment of an exemplary Polish village of the early 20th century. He took part in numerous local, national and international events.  His supreme goal was the well-being of other people, including an honourable life of a family and women. This article presents examples of his initiatives: stages of establishing ties with his parishioners’ families, educational activity on behalf of developing rural families, increasing social commitment of families and women, and political activity.
