On workers: family, unemployment, intelligence, philanthropy and social democracy

Abstract

The text presents a consideration of workers, analysing their positioning in social, economic and political space. The author first addresses the issues of the working-class family and the prostitution that women are forced into. Then the issue of systemic unemployment under capitalism is analysed. Next, we have a consideration of the intelligentsia in the context of the significant increase in people who are obtaining higher education. Then the issue of philanthropy is addressed. The final section features theoretical inquiries about trade unions.
