Accordingly, since residential estates are the arena of many people’s daily life, safety in selected public areas is a very important issue nowadays. The study analyzes public safety levels in a residential estate. The structure of the estate and the presence of facilities that could affect the residents’ safety were analyzed. A survey was conducted among members of a local community. The results were used to identify areas characterized by various levels of public safety and to develop a map of safety threats in the analyzed estate.
