Abstract

In connection with socio-cultural changes and growing concerns and even reluctance towards parenthood and motherhood among people of reproductive age, it is worth asking whether there are state tools that could reverse this trend. The aim of this article is to check whether education for family life can shape pro-family and pro-natal attitudes among students and PhD students. The article presents a fragment of the results of our own research (quantitative in nature) on the impact of education for family life on pro-family and pro-natal attitudes. Based on this part of the research, it can be concluded that the discussed topic has not been an element of a broad pro-family policy so far, the quality of the classes is low or average, and the topics discussed did not meet the needs of students and PhD students. At the same time, students' expectations regarding the content of the teaching are far from pro-natal attitudes.
