Abstract
On June 14-16 in Serock, the XXII Annual Scientific Conference of the Association for the Education of Public Administration entitled Administration in the face of contemporary threats was held jointly organized by the Faculty of Law and Administration of Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University in Warsaw. The aim of the conference was to identify threats and determine their sources and specifics, which enabled discussion of the necessary measures to prevent or offset their negative social, economic or environmental effects, both at the local and central levels. The activity of public administration in the sphere of countering modern threats is one of its basic tasks.
