Differences among small towns of wielkopolska voivodeship in terms of socio-economic development

Abstract

An analysis was made of a set of 89 small towns of wielkopolska voivodeship in terms of their levels of socio-economic development. Five categories were examined: (1) population, (2) economy, (3) social infrastructure, (4) physical infrastructure and housing, and (5) human and social capital. The final stage of the analysis involved a classification of the small towns into five classes: of a very high, high, average, low, and very low level of socio-economic development in terms of the input variables considered
