Abstract

The article is devoted to the theological thought of Fr. George Klinger, which stems from liturgical experience. The liturgy is the initial intuition of this great Orthodox theologian. Not only the mysticism of the Eucharist, but also the very formula of art within the liturgy becomes a paradigm of theological thinking. Liturgical realism, as an ontological formula for the eucharist and the poetics of art in the liturgy, defines in Fr. Klinger's thought the vision of the Church and the ways of unity of a divided Christianity. Liturgical intuition is translated into the experience of poetry, which for this theologian-poet was a new way of existence and understanding.
