L’émancipation : retour sur une escroquerie contemporaine... qui ne marche pas seule

Philippe Ribette

Abstrakt

The author identifies the theme of emancipation as one of the main vectors of a dome of lies that encloses our contemporary societies. He supports his argument with female emancipation which, contrary to the dominant dogma, seems to him already realized (at least in the West) and not yet to come… Then he demonstrates that this notion is soon linked to others with similar functions: the „Taboo,” also abundant in the defense of the supposedly forgotten or „invisibilized” Feminine, is a tool serving a desire to infantilize individuals in a triumphant consumer society far beyond the West (see Putin’s Russia!). He employs empirical reflection such as the analysis of a women’s magazine and cross-references with intellectuals like Derrida, Roudinesco, Badiou, and Cioran.
