Abstract

The most important tasks of the liturgy include the sanctification of man and bringing him to salvation. It is a model for all personal Christian prayer and the source of supernatural grace. In the center of the liturgical life of the Church there is a Holy Mass. Thanks to her, we can see the unspeakable beauty of God's love. Through the celebration of the liturgical year, we can meet Christ who is following the path of mercy to enable people to come closer to the saving mysteries of his life, death and resurrection. Not without significance is also Sunday, understood as a link integrating the entire liturgical year and the foundation of believers’ faith. In turn, studying the Eucharistic Prayers leads to the conclusion that they contain all the elements necessary for authentic spiritual life. On the other hand, Holy Communion and Adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament in the area of the Catholic liturgy increase Christian piety and teach attitude of constant presence before God, and ultimately lead to personal conversion, or rediscovery of the treasure of faith.
