Abstrakt

The paper presents the continuation of investigations on the semantic category of „author’s self-concept” that is considered one of the parameters of total author’s individuality exhibited in a scientific text. The attempt to view „author’s self-concept” as a pragmatic unit is conducted in the present paper using integral texts of contemporary Serbian scientific literature (the genre of a philological article). Due to the lack ofinvestigations on this problem, the paper analyzes, for the most part, the text materials related to the notion of „overrated author’s self-concept”.
