Gender Stereotypes in Elementary School Textbooks in use in Montenegro

Abstract

Artykuł przedstawia analizę współczesnych podręczników szkolnych używanych w Czarnogórze. Analiza dotycząca stereotypów płciowych została przeprowadzona metodami jakościowymi i ilościowymi. Kobiety występujące w badanych podręcznikach przypisane są przeważnie do roli matki lub nauczycielki. Mężczyźni również prezentowani są w stereotypowy sposób, mają jednak do dyspozycji większą różnorodność ról, chociaż w dużej mierze są to role historyczne i mityczne (rzemieślnicy, żołnierze). Rozbieżności w prezentowaniu dzieci są mniejsze niż w przypadku dorosłych, ale tu także dziewczynki są pasywne, troskliwe, starannie ubrane, podczas gdy chłopcy przedstawiani są jako zręczni, inteligentni, nie[1]grzeczni czy rządni przygód.

d) within the scope of creating and distributing dependent works created using the work - using them in the fields of exploitation specified in points 1-3.

5. The author is not entitled to compensation for granting the license to the work.

6. The author agrees that the University may grant further permission to use the work (sublicense) in the fields of exploitation specified in par. 2 paragraph 4.

7. The author agrees that, in connection with the distribution of the work, his or her personal information, that is, name, affiliation, and e-mail address, may be made public.
