Abstract

Rights of the children, due to their importance, are protected in the international law, Polish law and in law of the Churches and other religious organizations. The paper presents an analysis of the regulations of the Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland, the Roman Catholic Church and Polish law in context of the sacrament of baptism and religious education and upbringing of the minors. Although the legal status of the minors is of special character in comparison with other groups or communities, there are many differences between the ways in which the three legislators apprehend the rights of the children.
