Abstract

The study “Liturgical Itinerary after Jerusalem” aims to show this city not only as learning about places associated with salvation events, but also with the emergence of certain forms of liturgical ritual. On the basis of sources and other publications, such liturgical sites and forms as: 1. the Cenacle; 2. the Basilica of the Holy Sepulcher, and in it: Presentation of the Lord, Good Friday, Anniversary of the dedication of the church, catechumenate, mystagogical catechesis; 3. Palm Sunday procession; 4. Archetype of Easter processions; 5. Basilica of the Tomb of Mary (Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary); 6. Church of St. Anne (Nativity of Mary); 7. Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary (November 21). Learning about these places makes one not just look at them historically, but see them as salvific events actualized in liturgical celebration.
