Abstract
The aim of the article is to analyze the nature of relations and connections, which was carried out in two stages. The first concerns bimodal networks, in which nodes are substate units located on the borderland of Poland and and they are part of Euroregions. The second one, also carried out using bimodal networks, refers to the participation of euroregions in projects implemented since 2004, in accordance with the database of the „Map of EU Subsidies” portal and the list of projects from European funds implemented in Poland. The analysis presented in the article is to be an attempt to answer questions about the real participation of euroregional areas in cross-border cooperation, the scope and level of activity of individual euroregions, the strength and scope of the border (open, open) impact on the nature of cooperation, etc.
