Articles are available on the licence CC-BY-NC-SA (version 4.0)

Indexation
The Journal is listed by the ERIH Plus, DOAJ, BazHum, CEJSH, POL-index databases. Journal is also on the list of journals approved by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Poland (40 points).

Archiving policy
Due to the secure access to content, articles are deposited in the CEJSH database as well as on the publisher's website.

Revenue sources and business model
Border and Regional Studies is published in the non-profit formula. The Editorial board is provided by institutional support of the University of Opole. Journal does not charge the authors for publishing nor processing fees.

In the years 2019-2020, the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education supported the PPBS with the amount of 119.030 PLN for the internationalization of the journal (grant no. 423615).
