Abstract

The article presents the problem of the integration of Muslims and the consequences of contemporary migration crisis as the challenges that affect the German and European diplomacy. With regard to theoretical considerations, the article presents concepts and models of integration policies pursued by the Western European states in conditions before and during the crisis. The study included the story of the influx of Muslims to Germany and the processes associated with their integration in that country. Also presented the main features of the current crisis and pointed to the challenges posed by migration crisis for the whole European Union and for Germany as a country particularly involved in the process of receiving refugees and immigrants. Drew attention to the basic problems which involve the adoption of migrants: internal problems and external problems in the international arena. Also underlined the political context, public support for the government and the threat posed by the migration crisis.
