The Covid-19 Pandemic has showed in may ways social problems like in a magnifying glass and shouted them. It causes and accelerates the processes of transformation, which concern especially the world of work and relations at work. The present article shows this aspects in reference to the “social dividing line of gender” and points that in a insecure conditioning of work especially women are afflicted with the social consequences of pandemic. The aspect of (still lacking) recognition of work in care professions deepens and asks a question what should be understand under the concept of professions “relevant for a system”. At last the author refers to the by pope Francis brought up for discussion theme of basic income as a possible means of relaxation of negative consequences of pandemic and financial appreciation of tasks „relevant for system” which are not so far reward. In conclusions – in reference to pope Francis – the author reflexes about the question, how can be strengthened social ties and which changes are in this regard necessary.
