The article analyzes letters in which girls’ magazines readers ask for solutions to some specific problems accompanying the course of their adolescence. It describes how Czech adolescent girls communicate about gender differences in culture and social stereotypes. They use two categories – girl (an adolescent female person) and boy (an adolescent male person) and add specific properties (predicates) to them.
