Slaves to the Elsevier. The Washington Consensus in social sciences?

Abstract

The aim of this article is to outline arguments on social sciences and humanities in the context of neoliberal capitalism. Firstly, author describes role of innovations in the capital accumulation process. Then paper focuses on so-called Bermuda traingle of exploitation academic work: government bureaucracy–university–business. Next part is devoted to the specifics of natural and technical sciences and humanities. Then author analyzes duties of political scientists. Last chapter contains proposition, how to held humanist more accountable.
