Abstract

In 1760, in Vilnius, the book: The Life of the Dominican Saints appeared in the life of bl. Euphemia of the Piast dynasty. It is interesting because it was printed in Vilnius, the easternmost center where the cult of Euphemia arrived. It is based on the oldest text by Abraham Bzowski from 1606. However, there remains a shortened version of the text that was written in Italy in 1668 by the Neapolitan Dominican Domenico Maria Marchese. The life in question is valuable due to the geography of Euphemia’s cult and has one more advantage: the author placed in it two imaginary sentences of Euphemia herself, which also personalize life as the only one.
