Abstract

Der Aufsatz behandelt die Problematik der Entwicklung der tschechischen Sprache in der Barockzeit, besonders im 17. und 18. Jahrhundert. Die Voraussetzung für die Beschreibung dieser Entwicklungslinie des Tschechischen sind die Analysen der Texte, vor allem der Predigten. Zu diesem Zweck wurden solche Texte ausgewählt, die die Herausbildung der vier bedeutenden Barockgenerationen im Zeitraum von 1620 bis 1740 repräsentieren. Die aus den Textanalysen resultierenden Schlussfolgerungen zeigen, wie die historischen Ereignisse (allmählicher Untergang der tschechischen Staatlichkeit nach dem Kriege am Anfang des 17. Jahrhunderts), in deren Folge es zur Verengerung des Funktionsspektrums des Tschechischen und zur Beschränkung von dessen Gesellschaftsfunktion kam, in der phonologischen, morphologischen, syntaktischen und lexikalischen Ebene der tschechischen Sprache zum Ausdruck kamen.
