Abstract

Communication disruptions in a family with experience of prison isolation are a broad issue due to the aspect of communication and the stay of one of the family members in a social rehabilitation facility.
The article discusses communication disruptions in the prisoner's family in some detail, emphasizing three important issues: communication barriers affecting negative family communication, taking into account twelve obstacles; attention was paid to the communication style, which often becomes a serious deficiency in family communication; and patterns of dysfunctional communication in the inmate's family were given, which not only make communication difficult, but are also often the reason for its breakdown.
Sensitivity to communication disruptions in the family, as an ongoing issue, should become the subject of further in-depth research useful in work on the social rehabilitation of prisoners.
