Abstract

Receiving autocephaly from Constantinople by Orthodoxy in Ukraine in 2019 means for him primarily a qualitative change in both the organizational and legal sense, but also in the conscious and mental sense. It is a real reference to the historical legacy and the prospect of total release from unwanted subordination. All that remains is the question of proper management of the value of full autonomy and the possibility of shaping an independent ecclesial vision. If the conclusions from the recent and ancient past are properly learned then all foundations for the creation of a unified Orthodox community with undoubted moral authority will exist.
